Thrive

The Thrive Approach

Here at Anthony Curton we have trained Thrive Practitioners, supporting children in developing their confidence, emotional wellbeing, and ability to manage everyday challenges. Through a range of activities, helping children to feel safe, valued, and understood in school.

This is a child -led role with the activities following in line with what we have learnt about their personal needs, using observations and one to one sessions. This could be a game of football together to burn off some energy and help with feeling fidgety in class, painting to encourage curiosity and creativity, messy play making slime, dancing to music, being comfy on beanbags and having a chat about any worries we may have. Whatever the child needs on that day to help create a calm, supportive space - where they feel comfortable being themselves, knowing they are listened to and that they matter.
